Our commitment to children and families

The Children at Risk Foundation is a not-for-profit agency dedicated to serving children impacted by parental incarceration. We work to protect the rights and well-being of children, one of the most underserved and misrepresented and vulnerable populations affected by adverse childhood experiences.

We provide education and nutrition services, clothing provisions and other practical resources designed to help alleviate the burden placed on both children and their caregivers.

A safe place to be heard.

Parental incarceration can bring significant changes to the family structure. By providing a safe place to gather, be heard and build community, we help children and caregivers develop support systems that can encourage healing and help minimize the multigenerational effects of trauma, shame and stigma.

Guidance. Provisions. Direction. Hope.

We are here to provide guidance, provisions, direction and hope to those in need while facilitating opportunities to innovate, develop and strive toward their full potential.
